Management change on April 1, 2025

After sixteen years with the company, Thomas Mettke, Managing Director and Commercial Director of Corteco GmbH, is taking early retirement on April 1, 2025. Mettke was instrumental in the company’s expansion and global presence. “His vision and leadership have been crucial in shaping the company into what it is today.” said Jürgen Friedl, Vice President Corteco Europe.

Thomas Mettke will be succeeded by Alexander Jörn, who has extensive experience in the automotive industry and most recently worked as Head of Sales EMEA at Continental. Jörn holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Engineering and has broad experience in the automotive industry since the year 2000. For the past 12 years, he has been involved in the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) sector and has most recently served as the Head of Sales EMEA for Continental, overseeing aftermarket brands such as Ate, Galfer, VDO, and Continental. At Corteco, he will be based in Germany.
